The Northfield Foundation is recruiting participants for focus groups in January to help develop treatment programs.  This non-profit ministry for girls who are struggling with eating disorders and/or facing unplanned pregnancies is looking to recruit:

• Girls who are currently struggling with, or who have in the past struggled with an emotional crisis, to include eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), cutting, and/or unplanned pregnancies.
• Mothers and fathers of girls who have struggled or are currently struggling with an emotional crisis, to include eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), cutting, and/or unplanned pregnancies.
• Those in a skilled profession who counsel, treat, or case manage girls in emotional crisis, to include eating disorders, cutting and/or unplanned pregnancies.

Northfield plans to use the information to build a strong and effective operations program.

The focus groups will be conducted at the Northfield Plantation in Cumberland, Va., from 9 a.m. – noon on Sunday, Jan. 25 and from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31.  Those interested in participating in the focus group can contact Kim Ruth at (804) 687-2620 or .  For more information about Northfield Foundation, please visit http://www.northfieldfoundation.org.
