Congressman J. Randy Forbes will host a job fair at L.C. Bird High School, Wednesday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. More than 36 area employers will be on-site to discuss job availabilities. Attendees also will have the opportunity to meet with experts on resume writing, interviewing, job searches, and apprenticeships. Those attending should bring multiple copies of their resume and letters of reference to distribute.

Dale Magisterial District Supervisor Jim Holland expressed his support for the job fair.  “I appreciate Congressman Forbes’ work to bring this job fair to L.C. Bird High School, and encourage those Chesterfield County residents seeking new career prospects to avail themselves of this opportunity. This is a critical time to get Chesterfield and Dale back to work,” he said.

Registration is required and may be done online at forbesjobfairchesterfield.eventbrite.com or by calling Congressman Forbes’ Colonial Heights office, (804)526-4969.

Employers interested in having a booth at the fair must register with Congressman Forbes’ office. For more information, or to register, call (804)526-4969.
