A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Chevron station at 9430 Iron Bridge Road at about 1:27 p.m. on May 12.

Avery D. Pegram, 27, of the 9600 block of Paddock Grove Court, is accused of robbing a Chevron employee at knifepoint as she attempted to get into her vehicle to make the store’s deposit at an area bank. Police arrested Pegram without incident at a bus station in Richmond at 3 a.m. today.

Pegram is charged with robbery and is being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail pending an upcoming hearing in the Chesterfield County General District Court.
