Police are searching for an unidentified man who shot a man multiple times in the Bank of America parking lot in the 7200 block of Midlothian Turnpike at about 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. The victim remains in stable condition following surgery at an area hospital.

Police said the victim was returning from a Wal-Mart shopping trip and drove into the parking lot. The suspect approached the victim on foot, shot the victim and fled the area. The victim was able to get back into his vehicle and drive to his undisclosed home. A family member immediately summoned police.

The suspect is a black male.
