Robbery suspect arrested, police search for two others Published: December 10, 2009 courtesy of Chesterfield County Police Department Police said a Richmond Sheriff’s deputy exited a restaurant and walked to his vehicle when he was approached by three male suspects who displayed a gun and demanded money. The suspects forced the victim to a nearby business and ordered the victim to turn and walk away. The deputy turned and fired several shots toward the suspects who returned fire. The suspects then fled the area. An unoccupied vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no one was injured. Hope is charged with robbery, use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held in the Chesterfield County Jail pending an upcoming hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court. Detectives continue to search for the remaining two unknown suspects.
