Use of fireworks prohibited in Chesterfield County Published: July 01, 2009 courtesy of Chesterfield County The Chesterfield County Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services reminds everyone that Chesterfield County prohibits the sale, possession, storage and use of fireworks by anyone other than a licensed and permitted fireworks professional. This prohibition includes pyrotechnics and the use of sparklers, which are considered fireworks. Authorities recommend playing it safe this Fourth of July holiday by attending a regional fireworks display permitted and organized by licensed fireworks professionals. |
