Buddy’s Rescue Ladder runs to Midlothian on Sunday, July 12. The new event which will benefit the Richmond Animal League will be held at 5 p.m. at Midlothian Middle School.

The events kicks off with a cross-country start and finishes on the track with a distance medley of 400-, 800-, 1,200- and 1,600-meters. The Richmond Animal League will be on hand with some of their cats and dogs, who are looking for good homes.

After running or walking in the event, participants and supporters can cool off at the After Party at Capital Ale House beginning at 7 p.m.

Entry fees are $25 for those received by June 15. After June 15, entry fees are $35. Registration can be posted through the mail, in person at RunnerBills Sports or the Richmond Animal League through July 11. Race-day registration at Midlothian Middle School is from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Race T-shirts are guaranteed to pre-registered entries only. Registration can be done online through July 10.
