Mitchell Shifflett went 2 for 3, stole three bases (including home), scored twice and had an RBI as Cosby claimed the Dominion District tournament title.

L.C. Bird jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but Michael Carpenter cam in to pitch six-and-one-half innings of relief to shut down the Skyhawks. Carpenter struck out five.

Cosby’s Christian Hamlett went 2 for 4, had two RBI and a stolen base and scored twice.
