| HLL All-Stars win invitational Published: August 08, 2009 Content courtesy of the Meador family The Huguenot Little League National All-Star Team won the 11th annual 8-year-old Invitational Tournament on Aug. 1 at the Robious Sports Complex. There were 17 teams represented from the surrounding Richmond area competing in the week-long event. The Huguenot National teams won all six of their games in the tournament, including a 16-3 win in the championship game over a previously unbeaten Atlee National team. The team combined great hitting (79 runs scored) with excellent defense (27 runs allowed) to win the event. Great job Nationals!
