Girls’ volleyball squads from eight area high schools participated in the annual James River Girls’ Volleyball Jamboree on Saturday, Aug. 28. Matches varied in length among teams from James River, Cosby, Midlothian, Hanover, Atlee, Lee Davis, Powhatan and New Kent. Each played three matches at the same time on three different courts as parents and court dividers shuffled among the games.
