L.C. Bird rallies for late baseball win

After being stifled for six innings, fourth-seeded L.C. Bird exploded for 11 runs across the final two innings to advance to the championship game by stunning No. 1 Manchester 13-9 in eight innings last Tuesday in the Dominion District semifinals. The Skyhawks trailed 9-2 going into the seventh.

Bryce Harman was 4 for 4 with four RBI, including a three-run double, and Connor Kaufmann went 4 for 5 with three RBI to pace the Skyhawks.

The Lancers’ Joey Cujas was 4 for 6 with two RBI.
